A second member of Little Mix, Perrie Edwards, has announced that she is expecting her first child. Fellow bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock revealed her pregnancy just last week in a Little Mix baby boom.
In a post on social media network Instagram, Perrie Edwards shared an image of her midriff. The second image showed the baby’s father, Liverpool’s footballer Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, cradling her stomach. A sweet but short caption underneath reads “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate. Me + Him = You”. Before finishing with “We cant wait to meet you baby Ox”.
Perries partner Alex announced the pregnancy in a more jovial way than Edwards. He used his announcement to ask followers for advice on changing nappies before welcoming the sleepless nights.
Alex and Perrie have been in a relationship for four years. They met in 2016 when she was spotted in the stands at a Liverpool game, although did not officially announce their relationship until 2017.
The second Little Mix baby due
Perrie Edward’s baby announcement comes just a week after her fellow band member announced their pregnancy. Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared images of her growing baby bump on her social media sites.
Wearing a green bra and matching flowing skirt, with fiance’ Andre Grey behind her, the images were soon flooded with congratulatory messages from fans. Leigh-Anne shared a behind the scenes video from the photoshoot, showing that it was all fun on set with her and Andre giggling frequently.
Remaining member Jade Thirlwall took to Instagram to show her support, calling herself the luckiest auntie ever. Fans were in awe of Jade as it was made public that she has been wearing baggy clothes in order to help conceal her band members pregnancies.
It is not just the band members that are pregnant. On Monday, the bands manager Samantha Cox shared an image of herself next to the pregnant stars to reveal she is also expecting.
