A private judge ruling sees Brad Pitt given joint custody of his children with Angelina Jolie. This ruling will “significantly increase” the time Brad spends with his children.
The current ruling is the result of a long custody battle regarding their five children. A PA news agency reports the couple used a private Judge. The judges ruling is based on the ex couples testimony and professionals who have been in talks with children.
Angelina Jolie does not object to the ruling but is said to have other concerns. Accusing the judge of bias due to his “professional relationship” with her ex husbands team.
One of the “other concerns” is that the five children have not been able to testify throughout the case.
What happened between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt met on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2005. Following a controversial relationship, and questions of an affair of Brad and Jennifer, the couple married in 2014.
Two years late, Angelina filed for divorce from Brad. Pitt was accused of abusive behaviour towards their son Maddox. An investigation into this claim did not result in any charges.
When asked, Angelina stated she left the marriage for the well being of her children. Describing her children as “Very brave, strong, young people” she never revealed details of their divorce.
In 2017, Brad told GQ that he was no longer drinking or smoking marijuana. He claims this is due to “every misstep being a step toward epihany, joy and understanding”.
