The new television channel GB News is launching in the UK on Sunday 13 June at 20:00 BST.
The new channel promises to “change the face of news and debate in the UK”. According to TV listings, it will provide “a new approach to how news is done” and “stories that really matter to people in the United Kingdom”.
Former BBC political presenter Andrew Neil will chair, as well as lead the channel’s evening news coverage. Also among the line-up is ex-Sun journalist Dan Wootton, ex-BBC presenter Simon McCoy and ITV veteran Alastair Stewart.
A special show, Welcome To GB News, will launch the channel on the Sunday evening. Those wishing to tune in will find GB News on Freeview channel 236. It will also be available to view on other platforms including Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.
