Paramount pictures announces the postponing of UK filming of Mission Impossible 7. The decision is due to members of the crew testing positive for Covid 19.
Mission Impossible 7 is the latest in the global franchise, with Tom Cruise returning as Ethan Hunt. Last year, a recording seemed to show him threatening to fire workers on the set for breaking Covid Guidelines.
Tom, who is a producer on the super spy series, will not return to work until June 14th. In a statement from Paramount, the positive results came from routine testing. They production company ensures public they are “following all safety protocols” and will continue to monitor the situation.

Footage showing Tom Cruise shouting at crew in December last year, has resurfaced following news that filming of Mission Impossible 7 has been stopped.
The audio, released by The Sun newspaper, allegedly shows Tom shouting at them to keep 2m from each other.
Telling the crew “he doesn’t ever want to see it again”, before telling an unknown number he would fire them if they continue to break the rules. When the staff appear to apologise, he tells them not to. To save their apology for people “losing their homes because the industry is shutting down”.
The seventh installment of Mission Impossible is set for May 2022. Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Vanessa Kirby are set to return along with newcomers Rebecca Ferguson and Henry Czerny.
